Funderburk recorded two interceptions in the Spiders' victory over Stony Brook, the first of which he returned 30 yards for a pick-6 in the 51-7 victory. For the season he has 21 tackles, one-and-a-half for loss and has forced a fumble. Tyrek is the veteran of the secondary, with 36 games played, including 18 games started. He has five interceptions in his career.
